SPECIAL EVENT SPONSORSHIP
The West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is committed to fostering a thriving and economically vibrant downtown by encouraging collaboration among non-profits, arts organizations, and event producers. We actively seek partnerships with organizations and stakeholders to create dynamic events that highlight the unique culture and characteristics of Downtown West Palm Beach. Through these collaborations, we aim to consistently activate and promote the district, enhancing its appeal to residents and visitors alike.

REQUIREMENTS

· The event must be located within the DDA Boundaries. Please click here for Boundary Map. 

· Events preferred should be open and free to the public to participate.

· NO APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED WITH LESS THAN 4WEEKS NOTICE PRIOR TO EVENT DATE. 

· Business must receive written approval from the DDA.

· Application must be submitted with a W-9. Please click here for a blank W-9. 

· The DDA, DowntownWPB and/or West Palm Beach Arts & Entertainment District must be listed as a sponsor on promotional materials. Partner listing will be determined based on the event and collaboration. 

EXCLUSIONS 

· The DDA does not sponsor parties/meetings i.e. private parties, board meetings, quarterly meetings etc.

Please answer all questions below and complete all applicable sections of this form. It may be helpful to provide supplemental information (i.e. Sponsorship Deck) for consideration as part of this application. If you choose to submit attachments, please be sure to clearly label them.

Note: Financial assistance is at the discretion of the DDA. No more than four (4) applications from an event producer will be considered per fiscal year (October 1 - September 30).

The DDA sponsors events with the understanding that the event will not include language, materials, and/or displays that contain or communicate political views, profanity, sexually explicit, obscene, or violent material or material that discriminatory based upon race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexuality. In the event this policy is not adhered to the event producer will be responsible for refunding the full sponsorship amount.
